8 September 2022 represents a very important day for SINFONICA, as it is the day of the official Kick-off Meeting of the Project.
All Partners met in Brussels, in the House of the Dutch Provinces, kindly hosted by colleagues from the Province of Noord-Brabant, partner of the Consortium and representative of one of the territories where the Groups of Interest will be formed to carry out the co-creation processes foreseen for SINFONICA.
The event lasted a total of six and a half hours and was the first opportunity for the members of the Consortium to meet in person, after having worked together remotely to draft the Project proposal.
The Kick-off Meeting was moderated by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE) as Project Coordinator and was graciously attended by the Project Officer of the European Climate Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) and a representative of the European Commission from the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) – Future Urban & Mobility Systems.
The Partners illustrated and discussed in detail the structure and working organization in view of the 36-months duration of the Project. The roles of each Partner were described, as well as the interrelationships and synergies that will make it possible to develop and realize the expected results and achieve the outputs and impacts useful to make SINFONICA the drive of a deployment of more inclusive and accessible Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM) solutions.
