We are back with the presentations of our Partners!

Today we present our Coordinator: University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE).

UNIMORE, as part of the Interuniversity Consortium for Optimisation and Operation Research – ICOOR, has consolidated experience in the management of research projects.

UNIMORE is taking part in SINFONICA with the aim of advancing the state of the art of research on Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM), not only from a technological point of view, but also from a sociological perspective, thanks to a multidisciplinary team that combines technical skills with the contribution of Social Science and Humanities (SSH).

For Prof. Mauro Dell’Amico it is precisely the social aspect that is emphasised in SINFONICA that makes the project innovative and gives value to the research carried out.

Social Innovation is a relatively new topic in the domain of CCAM and SINFONICA aspires to be a forerunner for future European projects, collecting and understanding users’ needs for innovative forms of mobility, in order to build a solid knowledge base that will help and accelerate a fruitful deployment of CCAM technologies.
